# Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how The Audience Project (TAP) ApS ("TAP", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data through the Houston AI website at www.theaudienceproject.io (the "Site").
Who we are
The data controller is:
The Audience Project (TAP) ApS CVR no. 42602787 Hellerupvej 74, 2900 Hellerup, Denmark
Privacy contact: ben@theaudienceproject.io
What we collect
**Contact form.** When you send us a message through the "Let's talk" form, we collect:
- your name (required)
- your email address (required)
- your company (optional)
- your message (required)
Please do not include sensitive personal data in your message.
**Technical data.** Like most websites, our servers receive technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this only to deliver and secure the Site.
We do not use the Site for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use the contact form data to:
- answer your enquiry;
- follow up with you about Houston AI, for example to arrange a demo or send a proposal you asked for.
Our legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and/or Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and developing customer relationships. Technical data is processed under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry leads to a customer relationship, and then delete them.
Who receives it
Your data is handled by the TAP team. We use service providers to host the Site and to receive and manage enquiries, including HubSpot, Inc. as our customer relationship management (CRM) system, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host the Site. These providers act on our instructions under data processing agreements. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
The Site loads its fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC). When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address.
HubSpot and Amazon Web Services process data in the United States. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards: the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified under it, and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
Cookies
The Site uses only a strictly necessary cookie:
- **_tapai_key**: a session cookie set by our website when you open the contact form. It keeps the form secure (protection against forged submissions). It expires after 14 days.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because this cookie is strictly necessary, it does not require consent. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but the contact form may then not work.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, contact us at ben@theaudienceproject.io.
You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites run by third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and their own privacy policies apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the new version on this page. Changes apply from the time they are posted.
